Softball Recap: Pike Road Comes Up Short

The Patriots came up short against the Wicksburg Panthers on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Pike Road's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Wicksburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Pike Road didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Long on the 7th. As for Wicksburg, they have also already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Northside Methodist Academy on the 7th.
