Soccer Recap: Greeley Central Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Silver Creek, Greeley Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Weld Central Rebels get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Nia Trevino was the driving force of Greeley Central's attack as she scored both of Greeley Central's goals, bringing her season total up to four goals.

The victory got Greeley Central back to even at 2-2. As for Weld Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greeley Central will host Longmont at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th. Longmont will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Greeley Central surely won't give up without a fight. Weld Central will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greeley West at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
