            Volleyball Recap: Central Bulldogs vs. Lebanon Yellowjackets        
        
		
        
        
            Central was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They came up short against  the Lebanon Yellowjackets, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2024.
 Central was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18,  25-23.
 Zella Gosnell paced Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gosnell got some help from  Sophia Stratton and her 25 assists. Gosnell was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
  Addi Dent went supernova For Lebanon.,  getting 18  digs and four  aces. That's the most  aces  Dent has posted  over her last 12  matches.
Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Lebanon, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10-1.
 Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  1-1  tie against Skyline on the 27th. As for Lebanon, they will take on Eldon at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
