After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Red Lake Falls, Goodridge/Grygla was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Northern Freeze last Monday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Paizley Moe paced Goodridge/Grygla's offense, picking up eight kills. Moe got some help from Brianna Severts and her 19 assists. Torii Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] had strong showings from Jerilyn Pietruszewski, who had eight digs and two aces, and Faith Efta, who had five assists and four digs.

Goodridge/Grygla's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County], their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17.

Goodridge/Grygla has already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Fertile-Beltrami on the 11th. As for Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County], they will head out on the road to challenge Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 26th straight victory, something the Northern Freeze surely won't give up without a fight.
