Baseball Game Preview: Woodstock Blue Streaks vs. Harvard Hornets

For the second straight game, Woodstock will face off against Harvard. The Blue Streaks will challenge the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Woodstock is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They had just enough and edged out Harvard 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Streaks considering their two-run performance the match before.

Cayden Holtzee was a standout: he scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Chace Waterson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Woodstock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Harvard now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Woodstock, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
