Basketball Recap: Shippensburg Takes a Loss

Shippensburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Spring Grove Rockets, falling 62-29. The matchup marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shippensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Spring Grove, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Shippensburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greencastle-Antrim at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Spring Grove will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Red Lion at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
