Football Recap: Lawrence County Victorious

Lawrence County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Letcher County Central Cougars by a score of 57-47. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Lawrence County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Letcher County Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Lawrence County will host Mason County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Letcher County Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Estill County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Engineers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
