After losing to Sturgis the last time they met, Vicksburg decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vicksburg Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sturgis Trojans on Friday, sneaking past 55-53.

Vicksburg has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Sturgis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vicksburg will venture away from home to challenge Portage Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sturgis, they will challenge Otsego at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Sturgis is facing Otsego at the right time seeing as Otsego is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
