The Goshen Central Gladiators are taking a road trip to take on the Warwick Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Goshen Central is headed into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line, something Washingtonville almost spoiled on Friday. The Gladiators came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Wizards.

Anna Mayo made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Mayo was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Goshen Central let Mia Antolino and Sophia Springer run wild.
