Basketball Game Preview: San Juan Spartans vs. Lindhurst Blazers

The San Juan Spartans will head out to square off against the Lindhurst Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. San Juan is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

San Juan is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since November 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Rio Vista by a score of 48-46.

Meanwhile, Lindhurst played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 81-36 loss at the hands of Woodland Christian. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1273rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 485th).

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lindhurst, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

San Juan suffered a grim 50-28 defeat to Lindhurst in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can San Juan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
