Volleyball Recap: Tennessee Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tennessee entered their tilt with Volunteer on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 3rd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16.

Zoey Phillips paced Tennessee's offense, picking up ten kills. Phillips got some help from Bree Adams and her 20 assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Tennessee's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Volunteer, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Tennessee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Greeneville on the 27th. As for Volunteer, they will challenge West Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
