Basketball Recap: Westminster Takes a Loss

Westminster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Valencia Tigers 82-48. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-26.

When it comes to explaining why Westminster lost, don't look at Sean Le. Despite the final result, he posted 28 points. That was a full 58.3% of Westminster's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Valencia, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valencia, they will challenge Workman at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Workman knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 27 matches -- so hopefully Valencia likes a good challenge.
