Wheeling's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Maine East Blue Demons with a sharp 4-0 win. That four goal margin sets a new team best for Wheeling this season.

They hit Maine East with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicole Schreiner, Annette Villa, Maya Perez, and Krystal Diaz.

Wheeling's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Maine East, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road.
