Baseball Game Preview: Somonauk Bobcats vs. Hiawatha Hawks

For the second straight game, Somonauk will face off against Hiawatha. The Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Somonauk will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Somonauk turned things around against Hiawatha on Monday. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 11-3 win. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

For Hiawatha's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Giebel, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Somonauk's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Hiawatha, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
