Northeastern put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Shelbyville Golden Bears 62-35. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Northeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adysson Kircher, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Northeastern smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Despite the defeat, Shelbyville had strong showings from Maddy Jones, who had 11 points, and Jayla Ash, who put up seven points and seven rebounds.

Northeastern's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.4 points per game. As for Shelbyville, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-45 win against Kokomo on the 27th. As for Shelbyville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-49 defeat against Fort Wayne Wayne on the 27th.
