Basketball Game Preview: Perkins Pirates vs. Willard Crimson Flashes

The Perkins Pirates and the Willard Crimson Flashes will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Perkins knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Willard likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 81-43 stomp they got against St. Mary Central Catholic. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 36 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Willard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 52-46 to Port Clinton. The Crimson Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Perkins, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
