It was a good run, but Sylvan-Lucas unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Frankfort Wildcats.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 26-24.

Harlee Nelson paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up five kills. Nelson got some help from Lily Pancost and her four assists. Finally, Dominique Davidson kept Sylvan-Lucas' defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Sylvan-Lucas' defeat dropped their record down to 23-11. As for Frankfort, their victory ended an 11-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-29.

Sylvan-Lucas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Burlingame on the 21st. As for Frankfort, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. John's/Tipton Catholic on the 21st.
