Recap: Davis Darts vs. Weber Warriors

In what's become a running theme this season, the Davis Darts gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Weber 58-26 on the road. Given Davis' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Weber is ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Davis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendra Kitchen out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Kitchen has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was T'Maea Eteuati, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Weber lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rylee Jugler, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds. Logyn Howell was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds.

Davis' victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for Weber, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Davis will be playing at home against Fremont at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fremont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Weber, they will head out on the road to take on Farmington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Weber focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
