American Prep WV had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pinnacle Panthers on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

American Prep WV was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-10, 17-15.

Pinnacle now has a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, American Prep WV will head out on the road to face off against Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinnacle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Wendover on the 15th.
