Troup had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Arp Tigers by a score of 42-32. Given Troup's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while Arp is ranked 1197th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Troup is also on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points per game. As for Arp, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-20.
