Baseball Game Preview: Columbia Academy Bulldogs vs. The Webb School Feet

For the second straight game, Columbia Academy will face off against The Webb School. Columbia Academy will host The Webb School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia Academy will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

On Monday, Columbia Academy beat The Webb School 6-2.

Jackson Lee spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jase Kincaid was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Noah Gibson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Columbia Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in seven consecutive contests.

Columbia Academy's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for The Webb School, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.
