Basketball Game Preview: West Stokes Wildcats vs. North Stokes Vikings

The West Stokes Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the North Stokes Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Stokes took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Stokes, who comes in off a win.

West Stokes will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up five points on Friday, then bounced right back against Reidsville on Tuesday. West Stokes was the clear victor by a 59-36 margin over Reidsville. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Airy.

West Stokes' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for North Stokes, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

West Stokes lost to North Stokes on the road by a decisive 43-26 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can West Stokes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
