Baseball Recap: Grand Lake Takes a Loss

Grand Lake and Welsh squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Grand Lake had to settle for second. They fell 6-3 to the Greyhounds. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Grand Lake has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 24-9 record this season. As for Welsh, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-10.

As of now, neither Grand Lake nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
