Volleyball Recap: Cathedral City Takes a Loss

Cathedral City lost against JW North back in September of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12.

JW North found their leader in sophomore Athena Lee, who had 13 digs and two assists.

Cathedral City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for JW North, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cathedral City has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Coachella Valley on the 16th. As for JW North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Palm Springs on the 16th.
