Preview: Bay Path RVT Minutemen vs. St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians

The Bay Path RVT Minutemen will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Bay Path RVT's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Bernardians have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Even though Bay Path RVT has not done well against the Aztecs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Bay Path RVT was the clear victor by a 46-26 margin over the Aztecs.

Peter Barbale was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ed Simon, who scored six points.

Meanwhile, St. Bernard's Central Catholic took a serious blow against the Knights on Friday, falling 77-49.

Bay Path RVT is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.
