Volleyball Recap: New Albany Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

New Albany dropped to 2-3-2 on Thursday, ending the team's eight-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Kossuth Aggies. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Aggies when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Kossuth, they now have a winning record of 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for they.

Kossuth can attribute much of their success to Chloe Caldwell, who had 12 digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Caldwell a new career-high in assists (three).

Looking ahead, New Albany will venture away from home to face off against Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kossuth, they will face off against Tishomingo County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
