Westview lost a heartbreaker the last time they played El Capitan, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's match. Westview put the hurt on El Capitan with a sharp 15-7 victory on Wednesday. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Wolverines this season.
Kaya Rodriguez tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
