Football Game Preview: Legacy Tigers vs. Huntington Park Spartans

Legacy is 2-7 against Huntington Park since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tigers will square off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Legacy took on South East on Thursday. The Tigers took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-21, which was the final score in Huntington Park's tilt against South Gate on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered against the Rams since October 16, 2015.

Huntington Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Legacy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Legacy couldn't quite finish off Huntington Park in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 28-26. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
