Riverside-Durham barely beat East Chapel Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Friday. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Riverside-Durham got a massive performance out of Lucas Setji, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave Setji a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brayden Mottola, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Riverside-Durham's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for East Chapel Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
