            A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lovelady Lions  challenge  Normangee Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lovelady has three straight  wins, Normangee has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Lovelady made easy work of Centerville  and carried off  a  13-1 victory. Considering the Lions have won nine matches by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Normangee came up short against  Slocum on Monday, falling  10-2.
 Normangee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Gracin Shaffer, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Lovelady's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-4. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Normangee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
 Everything went Lovelady's way against Normangee when the teams last played  back in March, as Lovelady made off with  a  10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lovelady since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
