Basketball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-16 loss at the hands of the St. Pius X Warriors. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Kate Sell, who went 7-for-16 en route to 18 points and seven boards for St. Pius X. Another player making a difference was Caroline McCoy, who posted seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for St. Pius X, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Cameron will challenge Chillicothe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Pius X does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
