Baseball Recap: La Salle College Picks Up 11th Straight Win on the Road

La Salle College is still undefeated this season after their game against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic on Monday, but Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Explorers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Friars/Pandas. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Explorers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jack Pye looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brycen Clarke, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ronnie Raby, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

La Salle College hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters every time they've taken the field this season.

The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games.
