Northridge has gone 9-1 against Warsaw recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Raiders will host the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Northridge will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Northridge turned things around against Wawasee on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 14-8 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Rachel Humbarger made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Mia Branam was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Willow Staley, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Northridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Warsaw faced off against NorthWood on Wednesday. The Tigers lost 15-1 to the Panthers. The Tigers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Northridge, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Northridge took their win against Warsaw in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
