Baseball Recap: Pleasant Grove Takes a Loss

After flying high against College Park on Monday, Pleasant Grove came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs on Wednesday, falling 8-2.

Pleasant Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breydan Boyle, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Pleasant Grove's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Archbishop Mitty, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 defeat against Liberty on the 17th. As for Archbishop Mitty, they have also already played their next game, a 9-3 loss against Oak Ridge on the 17th.
