Basketball Recap: Peachtree Academy Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Peachtree Academy took on Trinity Christian School of Griffin on Tuesday. The Peachtree Academy Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 27-26 to the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-39 back in December of 2024.

Peachtree Academy dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Peachtree Academy will host Lanier Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they will challenge Flint River Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
