Soccer Recap: Clarke Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Clarke was not quite Chariton's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 1-0. Clarke have struggled against Chariton recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Clarke's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chariton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarke will take on Colfax-Mingo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chariton, they will square off against Creston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
