Volleyball Recap: New Albany Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Albany lost against Olentangy Liberty back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-8.

Despite the loss, New Albany still got an impressive performance from Aline Bhat, who had 21 digs and two aces. Bhat is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

Olentangy Liberty can attribute much of their success to Kylie Oehler, who had 15 digs and two aces.

New Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Olentangy Liberty, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

New Albany has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Upper Arlington on the 2nd. As for Olentangy Liberty, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Olentangy on the 28th.
