Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Christian Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant Christian was the 55-52 winner over Master's Hand Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 71-57 to the Warriors.

Braedon Canuteson had a dynamite game For Master's Hand Christian., going 5-for-6 en route to 17 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Canuteson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 15 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Asher Brown, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 16 points and six boards.

Mt. Pleasant Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Master's Hand Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant Christian will take on Tabernacle at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Master's Hand Christian, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
