Basketball Recap: Archbishop Shaw Takes Down Ranked Archbishop Hannan

On Tuesday, Archbishop Shaw faced Archbishop Hannan in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Archbishop Shaw Eagles secured a 59-54 W over the Archbishop Hannan Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-53 back in December of 2024.

Archbishop Shaw has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Archbishop Hannan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.
