Volleyball Game Preview: Temecula Prep Patriots vs. California Military Institute Rough Riders

Temecula Prep hasn't had much luck against California Military Institute recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Patriots will host the Rough Riders at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Temecula Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against San Jacinto Leadership Academy by a score of 3-1.

Temecula Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 28-26, 25-14.

Meanwhile, California Military Institute waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Lions 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-16.

California Military Institute pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Temecula Prep, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Temecula Prep couldn't quite get it done against California Military Institute when the teams last played back in March as they fell 3-1.
