Longhorns landed Flower Mound High School Class of 2023 on Friday.

The Texas women's basketball program picked up an interesting commitment over the weekend from 6-foot-9 junior post Abbie Boutilier of Flower Mound (Texas).

While Boutilier wasn't a starter at Flower Mound as a sophomore, her height and potential clearly caught the attention of the coaching staff in Austin. She averaged 3.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 2020-21 for the Jaguars.

While playing for the club team Texas Elite this summer, Boutilier also made a couple of trips to the campus to see the program up close and personal. Her Twitter account includes photographs from the Longhorns' team camp in late June and a separate unofficial visit earlier in the month.

In addition to this early 2023 pledge, Texas head coach Vic Schaefer has a pair of Top 100 commitments in the Class of 2022 from Amina Muhammad of DeSoto (Texas) and Jordana Codio of American Heritage (Delray Beach, Fla.).
