Volleyball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greenville managed to slip by Sulphur Springs the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Greenville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-18.

This is the second loss in a row for Greenville and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Sulphur Springs, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Greenville will challenge Grand Saline at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sulphur Springs, they will square off against Peaster at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
