Softball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington lost against White Plains back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Admirals fell 15-12 to the Tigers. Even though they lost, the Admirals' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 7 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Emma Suozzo and Mya White stepped up to the plate in a big way. Suozzo went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while White went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that Suozzo launched this season. Another player making a difference was Sam Laffin, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Arlington has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for White Plains, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Arlington will challenge Ketcham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for White Plains, they will face off against New Rochelle at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Huguenots at the right time seeing as the Huguenots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
