Volleyball Recap: Waxahachie Prep Warriors vs. Providence Academy Lions
After flying high against Fairhill last Tuesday, Waxahachie Prep came back down to earth. The Waxahachie Prep Warriors fell just short of the Providence Academy Lions by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
Waxahachie Prep took Providence Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 18-25, 23-25, 15-9.
Even though they lost, Waxahachie Prep kept the net locked down and finished the game with 14 blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted since back in October of 2023.
Waxahachie Prep's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Providence Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.
