Basketball Recap: Marion County's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Marion County entered their game against Mark Twain on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Marion County Mustangs came up short against the Mark Twain Tigers, falling 55-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered against the Tigers since December 6, 2019.

Marion County's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Mark Twain, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion County will head out to take on Knox County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mark Twain, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mark Twain Tigers duke it out with the Wright City Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
