            Softball Recap: Riverview Sarasota Rams vs. Southeast Seminoles        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Riverview Sarasota). They never let the Southeast Seminoles get on the board and left with  a   17-0  win  on Friday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Seminoles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.
 Olivia Stacey made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Furthermore,  she didn't allow a single  walk, the first time  she has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3. She also  brought in three  RBI, marking her first of the season.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Allison Cole, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Sierra Lipton was another key player,  scoring four  runs while going 4-for-4.
Riverview Sarasota pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Southeast,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-4.
 Looking ahead, Riverview Sarasota will be playing in front of their home fans against Braden River  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Riverview Sarasota's pitching crew has only allowed 0.6  runs per game  this season, so Braden River's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Southeast, they are taking a road trip to  take on St. Petersburg Catholic  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Southeast has given up an average of 23.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
