Soccer Recap: Rolla Takes a Loss

Rolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish. While losing is never fun, Rolla can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Springfield Catholic are ranked first).

Rolla's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Springfield Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.

Rolla has already played their next contest (against Jefferson City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Springfield Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Bishop DuBourg on the 19th.
