Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Lafayette). They enjoyed a cozy 53-36 victory over the Logansport Berries on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Logansport's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylinn Spradling, who posted eight points and five boards. Mady Baumgardner was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

West Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Logansport, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

West Lafayette will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Western at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Logansport, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-24 defeat against Maconaquah on the 21st.
