Pine Lake Prep blew Langtree Charter Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Langtree Charter Academy got their revenge. The Pride fell just short of the Lions by a score of 8-6. The Pride's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Pine Lake Prep saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alec Brown, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Brown has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another was Aiden Kaliszewski, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Pine Lake Prep's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Langtree Charter Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-8 record.
