Soccer Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

Hamilton County was the 4-0 winner over Branford when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans lost 4-1 to the Buccaneers on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Hamilton County were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Jose Gomez, who's now up to 15 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hamilton County and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1. As for Branford, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hamilton County will take on Fort White at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Branford, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Columbia on the 16th.
